At Beritaz Care, our core values help to guide us every single day and provide a blueprint for every member of our team for the kind of service we want to provide to our residents and their families.
Our values help to remind us why we do what we do, and are what define us as a service provider and as an employer. Every member of the Beritaz team is encouraged to reflect these values in their actions; we all work with the same values and goals in mind, to ensure our residents are happy, healthy and comfortable. As we celebrate World Values Day, we wanted to share with you the values that we follow at Beritaz Care, and how these characterise our approach to care.
There are three core values that define who we are as a company and how we aim to treat residents, staff, and any members of our Beritaz family.
We care with warmth and understanding in a safe and happy home. Every person within our homes is treated with kindness, patience and compassion. Our approach to care is unique to each individual and their physical and emotional wellbeing needs.
We form close relationships by being open and honest, we are always here to listen. We are in a privileged position, supporting individuals in later life, and we do not take for granted the trust that our residents and their families put in us.
We respect and support the needs and choices of every individual. We are here to support our residents to live full and happy lives, helping them to spend their days how they choose and do the things that bring them joy.
We hope that whenever you visit one of our homes, you will see these values in action and understand how they contribute to the unique service provided by Beritaz Care.
The theme of this year’s campaign for World Values Day is ‘Values and Volunteering’, encouraging people to volunteer their time to put their values into action to help make the world a better place. We have been delighted to welcome some fantastic volunteers to our homes to help with activities, provide musical entertainment, or just to spend some time chatting to our residents. We know how valuable these experiences with volunteers have been for our residents and the difference they have made by giving their time to brighten our residents’ days.
What values are important to you, and how do you put these into action in your daily life?
