Welcome to Springkell House Care Home where your loved one will enjoy a safe, secure and nurturing environment, with support from our friendly staff who will cater to their every need. We specialise in helping individuals with dementia, as well as offering experienced support for a variety of conditions.
We aim to create a home-from-home environment at Springkell House, where your relative can enjoy a sense of independence in their daily lives and know they have a say in what happens at the home. We take a holistic approach to the care we provide and supporting needs of your loved one is always our number one priority.
Jogi has been a member of the Springkell House team since 2004. In his time as Head Chef at the home, Jogi ensured that the residents were provided with good quality, healthy and appetising meals. His experience and passion make him the ideal person to manage the home.
“In 2025, I took on the role of Home Manager, supported by the fantastic team at Springkell House, many of whom I have had the pleasure of working with for many years. I am excited to lead the team and help to ensure we maintain the quality of care and service that Springkell House has become so well known for.”
Springkell House offers the best of both a peaceful countryside location and convenient village amenities. The home is adjacent to the historic village of Hindhead, providing independent shops, popular cafes and scenic walks. We highly recommend exploring local beauty spot, The Devil’s Punchbowl, a natural amphitheatre offering stunning views and lovely walks. Our residents regularly enjoy minibus trips to this lovely attraction we are lucky to have on our doorstep.
The home itself has Victorian origins and, while fully renovated and sympathetically refurbished to accommodate the needs of the residents, the building retains many of its original features. The home is surrounded by mature landscaped gardens which our residents love to explore during the warmer months. Visitors to the home often comment on the warm and friendly atmosphere as soon as they enter the home, something which we hope you will also notice when you visit.
Springkell House is a wonderfully warm and welcoming place, the staff are numerous, smiley and kind. The food is excellent and the home 'goes the extra mile' without any prompting, from the cheery tablecloths and flowers in the dining room to the clean and spacious individual rooms, nothing is too much trouble. Very, very happy with the way Mum is cared for.
Sally R, Daughter of Resident
My mother moved in recently and suffers with dementia. Her behaviour has been challenging but the staff have been so supportive and helpful to not just my mother but myself and sister. I couldn't be happier with Springkell House Care Home.
Sarah A, Daughter of Resident
Dad spends time with the other residents in the various lounges. Each time I visit the staff are so friendly and welcoming and I'm getting to know the other residents too. Dad, in particular, likes 3 pm when it's coffee and cake time. I can't recommend Springkell House enough, it's everything a good care home should be.
Karen B, Daughter of Resident
My dad was apprehensive about going into a home for respite, but he settled really quickly and was really impressed with Springkell. The staff were wonderful and Dad really liked all of the staff and they genuinely seemed to like him too. The food is good, the home is clean and well looked after, as are the residents.
Nicky J, Daughter of Resident
