Welcome to Robertson Nursing Home, where your relative will have the support of skilled nursing and care staff while enjoying a living environment that feels like a real home. Our aim is for your loved one to live a happy, safe and comfortable life in our care, while you can be assured their needs are being fully catered to.
When you visit Robertson you will feel the genuine warmth and friendly atmosphere that embodies the homes, as so many of our visitors comment on. “It is as near to a proper home environment that one could wish for and I always feel so welcome when visiting.”
Gabriella Konczol has been the manager of Robertson Nursing Home since 2021. Having worked in the home for many years prior, Gabi has hands-on experience with every aspect of the home and a deep understanding of the needs of residents and staff.
“During my two years as Home Manager, I am so proud to have witnessed how far the home and the team have come, even seeing the Robertson team named as ‘Team of the Year’ at the 2024 Surrey Care Awards.. I enjoy having the opportunity to work alongside an inspiring team, as well as receiving support from my fellow managers at our sister homes.”
Robertson Nursing Home provides a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere within its countryside surroundings and the village of Hurtmore on the doorstep. The home is within easy reach of Godalming, a historic market town offering many attractions and amenities. Take your loved one for a walk to enjoy the views of the River Wey or visit one of National Trust properties in Godalming. Simply walking around Godalming there is so much to look at, with the historic buildings, independent stores and plenty of lovely places to stop for a cup of tea.
Robertson Nursing Home is a historic Tudor building which has been carefully renovated to accommodate the needs of our residents, but without losing its traditional charm. The building is surrounded by landscaped gardens, the perfect venue for an afternoon stroll or some refreshments in the sunshine, however our residents and visitors wish to enjoy some time outdoors.
The staff are so kind and attentive and genuinely love their job and the care they give is outstanding. During the sunny warm days, I find mum sitting out in the garden under a huge tree offering shade and sometimes having an ice cream whilst listening to music from a local choir or musician.
Madeleine W, Daughter of Resident
Dad's not been at Robertson for very long, but all members of the team have made Dad feel extremely welcome and settled. It's like a home from home. The care and compassion of the team is outstanding.
K Y, Daughter of Resident
Mum has been living here for a year now, and their kindness and attention to her has been wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble and they all put 100% effort in every day. They are always open to suggestions, which are noted and they genuinely want to know what else they can do to make the resident's lives as happy as possible. Nursing care is top-notch.
Evelyn R, Daughter of Resident
My Mum has been at Robertson now for nearly four months. What struck me from the beginning was how friendly and diligent all the staff are. The staff all appear to have a genuine and professional approach to care. They have demonstrated a real dignified and respectful manner in the way they look after my Mum, which is very reassuring for the family.
Dominic B, Son of Resident
