The Beritaz Care team were delighted to attend the 2025 Surrey Care Awards and celebrate with our fellow Surrey care service providers. As a long-term supporter of the awards and a bronze sponsor of the 2025 event, we are always happy to have the opportunity to once again support this fantastic event and to help shine a light on the hard work put in every day by those in the social care sector.

This year was especially exciting for us as two of our homes were named as finalists at the awards. Robertson Nursing Home was a finalist for ‘Nursing Home of the Year’, following their win in the ‘Team of the Year’ category at the 2024 event. Ashton Manor Nursing Home had been named as a finalist in three categories: ‘Innovation in Technology’, ‘Champion of People and Progress’ and ‘Nursing Home of the Year’.
Although we didn’t go home with an award from this year’s event, this didn’t put a dampener on the festivities for any members of the Beritaz team. We were over the moon to have been considered for awards, and we are delighted to support the very deserving winners across all the award categories.
It was wonderful to see care workers (from all different departments) have their moment in the spotlight; these people work incredibly hard to support the individuals in their care and absolutely deserve recognition. We are so grateful to the Surrey Care Association for hosting this event and shining a light on all these compassionate, kind, and skilled individuals.
Well done to our teams! Even though we didn't go home with an award, you are all winners in our eyes and the true heart of Beritaz Care. Thank you to the Surrey Care Association for the work they put into creating this fantastic event, and for recognising the teams within our homes for the hard work and passion they show for resident care.
