News from the Springkell House team

Published on 16th July 2025

It has been a busy few months for the staff at Springkell House and we are incredibly proud of the recent achievements of our team.

We are delighted to see Jogi take on the role of Home Manager at Springkell House. Jogi has been a member of the Springkell House team since 2004. His experience and passion make him the ideal person to manage the home.

“In 2025, I took on the role of Home Manager, supported by the fantastic team at Springkell House. I am excited to lead the team and help to ensure we maintain the quality of care and service that Springkell House has become so well known for.”

The entire team are thrilled to see Jogi take on this new role and to have him at the heart of the home.

We are pleased to have welcomed back Sukman and Razin from maternity leave. They have been greatly missed within the home and everyone has really enjoyed having them back at the home and supporting our residents.

We are grateful to have such a close-knit team, many of whom have been with Springkell House for many years. In May, Jogi celebrated an incredible 21 years at the home, followed by Beauty’s 24 year anniversary in June. Marta and Danka also celebrated their 16 and 11 year milestones recently. What an achievement, we are so lucky to have such dedicated and enthusiastic staff members at the home supporting our residents.

During our recent staff meeting, we took the opportunity to recognise our staff’s achievements and hand out awards to celebrate certain members of staff who have gone above and beyond to support the home, as well as the team members who have recently completed their care qualifications. It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our staff as they work to develop their skills and further enhance the care we are able to provide to our residents. We handed out certificates and prizes to certain members of staff, but also took the opportunity to show our appreciation to the entire team for their teamwork and commitment to resident care.

Earlier this month, we were thrilled to receive the ‘Gold' Investors in People accreditation after a recent assessment of Springkell House and our sister homes within Surrey. This accreditation is the standard for people management and is a testament to our commitment to staff support, development and creating a positive working environment.

Our staff have enjoyed getting involved in local community activities recently. The Springkell House team had a great time lending a hand at the Beacon Hill School summer fair, where they were selling tea, coffee and cake to all the visitors to the fair, proudly raising money and supporting the school. We were delighted to be a part of the event and to have the opportunity to support our local community.

We are all looking forward to the Springkell House summer party and our team have been hard at work to make sure this is a fantastic event for our residents, their family members and other friends of the home who will be joining us at the event. We hope you have the opportunity to pay us a visit on Saturday 19th July from 2pm, for an afternoon of fun and the chance to say hello to the Springkell House team.
