Our highlights of 2025

Published on 24th December 2025

2025 was a year full of exciting changes and growth for Beritaz Care, with improvements being made to our facilities, services, business processes, and more. During the last year, we welcomed new staff and residents, made changes to enhance the care we provide, and celebrated some fantastic achievements.

Our ethos of person-centred care continued to be the main driving force behind everything we did in 2025. We have taken the time to really consider how our residents use the spaces within the homes, making changes to décor, furnishings, and facilities to make sure our residents can feel comfortable and truly at home.

Our activities and events programmes, driven by the fantastic activities coordinators across our homes, have continued to expand and change. Thanks to the new Beritaz minibus, we have been able to arrange more excursions than ever before and make the most of the wonderful sights around Surrey and Dorset. Residents have had the chance to take part in activities to suit every taste, socialise at regular home events, and be supported to enjoy their much-loved hobbies.

Advancements in technology have made a big impact on the care industry in 2025, and we at Beritaz Care have been excited to embrace these innovations to support and, in many areas, improve our services. From utilising technology in resident activities to introducing AI monitoring systems, we appreciate and understand the difference the right technological solutions can have for our residents and staff.

In 2025, we had the opportunity to support our local communities, taking part in community events, welcoming work experience students, and showing our support for many local businesses. We want to say a big thank you to the communities surrounding our homes. The members of our local churches, community volunteers, and local service providers we rely on to support our care, have all played a huge part in our residents’ lives during the last year. Their continued support is greatly appreciated by us all.

The last year has seen many positive changes and reasons for celebration for the teams within our homes. We welcomed new members of staff to the Beritaz family, celebrated our team members progressing on their career journeys, and took steps to prioritise mental health and wellbeing. It was also a big year for staff training and development, with some exciting opportunities for our staff to learn new skills and work towards individual qualifications.

Long-standing member of the Beritaz Care family, Jogi, took on the role of Home Manager at Springkell House, and several other staff members across our homes transitioned into senior roles. It is always wonderful to see members of our Beritaz Care family progress in their careers and take on exciting new challenges.

We are extremely proud of all staff across our homes; it is thanks to their hard work and commitment to providing quality care that we have consistently performed well in independent inspections carried out in 2025, a trend we intend to continue into this year. In addition to consistent performance in mock inspections, in 2025, both Windsor Court and Springkell House underwent CQC inspections, and both homes received an overall rating of ‘Good’.

We had the chance to attend the Surrey Care Awards as award finalists in multiple categories, with both Ashton Manor and Robertson Nursing Home nominated for ‘Nursing Home of the Year’. In 2025, we also received Gold Investors in People Accreditation for our Surrey homes, for our commitment to building a supportive and inspiring work environment.

Throughout 2025, we have aspired to work closely with our staff, residents, and their relatives to help make our homes the best they can be. Through regular surveys and in-person meetings during the last year, we have gathered some incredibly valuable feedback on how we can improve our homes and our care, from those who it impacts the most. The ideas and suggestions have helped to guide the progress we have made in 2025 and shape the plans we have for the future of Beritaz Care.

Thank you to every member of the Beritaz team, to our residents, their family members, and to the wider Beritaz Care community, for your support throughout the last year. We are looking forward to creating more wonderful memories in 2026.
