David joined the Windsor Court community in 2025, and we are very happy to have him here with us. Following a stay in hospital, David found Windsor Court could provide everything he was looking for in a new home and the support he needed to help him live safely while maintaining a sense of independence. 
 
“My friends visited a few different homes on my behalf, and they picked Windsor Court because of the friendly atmosphere. They knew the type of home I wanted and could tell this would be the right place for me.
 
The home manager came to visit me in hospital to chat to me. She told me all about Windsor Court and showed me the brochure. I liked the sound of the home and everything it offered.

I had ruled out other homes as they couldn’t provide everything I needed. I wanted to find a home that could offer good security, where I wouldn’t have to be sharing facilities, and that provided three good meals a day. Windsor Court offered everything I wanted, including the kind of facilities that were important to me; private rooms, ensuite showers, catering, laundry, and even a hair salon on the premises. I felt confident Windsor Court were able to cater to all my care needs.
 
I moved to Windsor Court in February 2025. All the staff at the home are very polite, I have only had positive experiences with everyone here. I have a call bell in my room and am confident to use it if I need anything, or in case of an emergency. I know that when I call, someone will come and be able to help me with whatever I need. 
 
I enjoy the activities they arrange for us, particularly the various minibus trips. We went on a boat trip recently, which was very good. I also like and take part in the regular resident meetings, where we are updated with any news and discuss upcoming activities. We are encouraged to individually share our thoughts and feelings. We also have the chance to share our views in one-to-one meetings.”
