Derek is one of Windsor Court’s longest-standing residents, and a very valued member of our community. Derek is very popular with both residents and staff, happily taking part in various group activities and always willing to share his fantastic poems with everyone at the home.
 
“I have been at Windsor Court since October 2015. I transferred here from another care home where I was living with my wife. In the long run, I was happy to come here due to circumstances.
 
There is freedom here. I like to go into the beautiful garden and on outings. Here, there is a love of good people trying their best. I am happy here. I look at others here as my brothers and sisters. 
 
The carers meet my needs day and night, always with cheerfulness. I am treated well. Many of the staff are naturally warm.”
