Hello, I’m Patrick. I have been a part of the Windsor Court team since March 2025 and really enjoy my job as a Care Assistant. 
 
I have always liked looking after people, knowing I am helping others and making their lives better. Working in care appealed to me as I like working closely with people and knowing I am making a difference. Before coming to Windsor Court, I had worked in a few other care settings and have enjoyed being able to get to know so many people through my job. 
 
I have found Windsor Court to be a great place to work. It is a very professional work setting and the home is very well organised. They have created a very friendly and welcoming environment. All the staff are well looked after and know we are valued.

When I first joined the team, I received a very warm welcome from everyone at the home, but particularly the management. They made sure I settled in and was confident in my role. I feel supported by the management and that they care about my wellbeing.
 
I very much enjoy what I do, my job is focused on looking after the residents, making sure their needs are met. I assist them with personal care tasks, as well as things like mealtimes, making sure they always have everything they need. I have enjoyed having the chance to get to know the residents better. I like listening to their life stories; we have so many interesting conversations and I have learned a lot from them. It makes me happy to know that I can contribute to making the residents smile. 
 
The team at Windsor Court are very friendly, I am fortunate to have great colleagues to work with each day. Every member of the team respects one another. I truly feel at home here and fulfilled by what I do.
