Aneena Babu – Senior Care Assistant
“Working in the care industry offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives”
Hi, I’m Aneena and I have been a Senior Care Assistant at Chestnut Court since November 2024. I have been working in the care industry in the UK for more than two years and it is a career I really enjoy and am passionate about.
Working in the care industry offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, which is something I deeply value. I was drawn to this field because it aligns with my passion for helping others and fostering human connections.
I recently joined Beritaz Care and became a part of the Chestnut Cour team and I must say, it feels more like a home than just a workplace. The environment is so welcoming and supportive that it immediately put me at ease. My husband has been working with Beritaz Care for over three years, and seeing how much he enjoys his role inspired me to choose Beritaz when I decided to relocate.
It turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made. The team here is incredibly kind, understanding and focused on delivering excellent care, which makes every day fulfilling. It’s a place where I feel valued and part of a family, not just an employee.
On daily basis my job role involves allocating daily tasks to the team of carers and being there to support the team. I take care of many important tasks including writing and reviewing care plans, monitoring patients’ vital signs (like blood pressure and heart rate), completing patient medication records and keeping families up to date about their relative’s progress.
My favourite part of the job is taking care of older people who need support, encouraging them and helping them to live more independently.
Working with the team at Chestnut Court is incredibly rewarding because of the shared purpose we all have; providing the best possible care to those who need it. Every team member brings unique strengths and perspectives, I appreciate how we support each other, especially during challenging situations. I really enjoy being a part of the Chestnut Court family.
