At Windsor Court Care Home we deliver excellent care, to the same standard that we would want for our own loved ones. We provide a comfortable, homely atmosphere for our residents, that offers them a sense of independence within a safe environment.

Windsor Court is housed in a former ‘Grand Gentlemen’s Residence’, retaining the high-ceilinged elegance of the Victorian era the building has been extensively and sympathetically refurbished. Our first-class accommodation is decorated to a high standard and benefits from modern care facilities, allowing us to provide the highest level of care for our residents.

The home is conveniently located within easy strolling distance of Bournemouth town centre and world-famous sea front. There is an abundance of amenities and attractions in the local area, providing us with plenty of locations for resident day trips on our minibus.

In addition to compassionate, every day residential care, Windsor Court also offers provisions for the support of residents with a range of specialist medical conditions, including dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease, stroke recovery and epilepsy. We are now also able to provide support for adults with learning disabilities, as well as those with autism who have developed early-onset dementia. We offer a variety of care services dependent on the individual’s needs, as well as full-time permanent care we provide, short-term, respite and day care options.

Our highly skilled team of care staff are on-hand to provide the finest care and support at all times, the wellbeing and comfort of our residents is at the heart of everything we do. We utilise digital platforms to enhance our services, including the Immedicare 24/7 telemedicine system. Our activities team provide a timetable of engaging events and activities for residents to take part in, with something to appeal to all tastes. We provide a balanced and delicious menu which is updated seasonally and specially designed to cater to the nutritional and specialist dietary needs of the residents.

Effective caring for Alzheimer’s and Dementia requires a team dedicated to delivering well-planned, patient, compassionate and consistent care with an understanding of the stages and changing behaviour associated with these conditions.

Respite, Convalescent & Day Care

At Windsor Court we provide a variety of short-term care options for your loved one. We have rooms available for respite or convalescent care if you require some extra support for a period of time, as well as individual day care.

Palliative Care

The privilege of providing support during difficult times is something that we never underestimate, helping families and loved ones is at the core of our care service. Treating our residents with kindness, patience and understanding at all times.

Specialist Care

Exceptional care is at the heart of what we do at Windsor Court. Every member of our team is dedicated to the delivery of appropriate, sensitive and discrete attention to our residents at all times and in every circumstance.

Learning Disability

We take a person-centred approach to providing care for residents with learning disabilities. Our care staff are on hand to support residents with their physical, emotional and social needs, whilst encouraging as much independence as possible. Activities are tailored to suit the individual and include day to day living skills.

Anna Knight CMgr, FCMI is a Chartered Manager with over 25 years’ management and project work experience in the health and social care sector. Familiar with not for profit, private, charitable status and public sector delivery, Anna has previously held the role of Chair of the Dorset Care Homes Association and until 2021 managed a care home with an outstanding rating.
