Time to Talk Day 2024

Join Beritaz Care in having a conversation about mental health this Time to Talk Day!

Mental health is something very important to us at Beritaz Care, both as a care provider and as an employer. An important part of the care we offer to our residents is supporting their mental wellbeing as well as their physical health. We have very open communication with our residents, our staff members form close bonds with the residents, so they know there is always someone to speak to if they have something on their mind or are in need of additional support. Building these bonds means we get to know all our residents very well and can be quick to spot if something changes in their behaviour or demeanour. Our main priority is always to ensure our residents are healthy, happy and comfortable within our care.

As an employer we are dedicated to providing a happy working environment for our staff, supporting our team members in both their personal and professional lives. Family is at the heart of what we do, and we want our staff to know they can come to us with any concerns and struggles, like they would their own family members. We encourage our staff to talk about their mental health, whether with each other or a member of the management team. It is important to us that they know there is support available whenever it is needed.

Time to Talk Day is an annual event, encouraging friends, families, colleagues and communities to talk, listen and save lives. Take part in the UK’s biggest mental health conversation. Talking about mental health isn’t always easy, but a conversation has the power to change lives. Find out more about Time to Talk Day, how to get involved and access tips for how to start a conversation about mental health here; https://timetotalkday.co.uk/
