Beritaz Care, a small family owned group with extensive experience and a reputation for providing quality care for older people in the South East, purchased Avonwood Manor, a residential and nursing care home in Poole on Friday 5 February.
Avonwood Manor can accommodate more than 40 residents, offering a friendly environment and compassionate approach to the personal care and attention of older people, for example, those who are frail or with dementia. The home has over 60 full or part-time staff all of whom undertake regular on-going continuing professional development to ensure the highest possible standards are delivered
Mr. A. Gnanakumar, a director of Beritaz Care, commented “We are delighted to acquire Avonwood Manor Care Home and I would like to thank both the Care Quality Commission and Poole Social Services for their positive contribution and support during the whole process. Avonwood Manor adds to our portfolio of care homes in Southern England and maintains continuity of good service provision for its residents, their next-of-kin and staff alike”.
The whole Avonwood Manor team, led by an experienced manager, is committed to providing the high level of care and support that they would want for their own relatives. Residents can be assured that this is a home for life, there will be no need to move if care needs increase.
