“On Friday 23rd March we had the privilege of Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt (MP for South West Surrey and Secretary of State for Health and Social Care) visit Robertson having met a previous member of staff who recommended Mr Hunt to visit our home having spoken highly about the quality of care provided.
It was a fantastic morning with all staff and residents excited to meet Mr Hunt. Following a warm welcome from the team Mr Hunt was shown around the home with one lucky resident (Mrs Joan Tice) getting the opportunity to chat one-on-one with Mr Hunt. Mr Hunt and his team were also treated to a cup of tea in our dining hall where he met more residents, and spoke highly of the home having known a previous resident who was cared for at Robertson.
The visit ended on a high with a group photo in the sunshine, and it is safe to say that the visit was definitely the highlight of the week for everyone involved!”
