As part of the staff training program at Springkell, a Virtual Reality Dementia Tour  was arranged.  All staff took part, and all agreed that the experience was amazing and very worthwhile.

Staffs were given the opportunity to experience for themselves what living with dementia might be like.  It was very enlightening and emotional.  All staff, no matter how long they had worked in the care industry took away some learning, which we can use to help us to review our practices, and improve the lives of our residents.
